A specific risk analysis request with a tight schedule
In May 2020, one of the major players of the agribusiness industry, Nestle Purina wanted to assess the risk of exposure to high temperatures during distribution circuit, to monitor the risk of quality drop on its products (nutritive values of the food being sensitive to high temperatures). This assessment requires a tracking of transportation temperatures (dynamic trackers being fixed with pallets of products or installed in trucks) and also of storage points, with static trackers installed in hubs.
One of their main needs was the rapid deployment of the solution. Indeed, the schedule was tight, an early launch of the study would enable to adress a complete time period, as high temperature might occur in Europe from May. It was necessary to rely on a company that could react quickly and efficiently while meeting their expectations as well as possible.
After weighing out many options, the company choose Safecube IoT solution for several reasons. Firstly, twofold expertise, on both supply chain and IoT. Secondly, the ability to deploy quickly a customised solution. And then, a pre-analysis of results aiming at identifying actionable levers to secure temperature among the distribution circuit in Europe.
A large aggregation of data at a very detailed level

« Safecube has accompanied us throughout this project in a complicated Covid context. Decisions were made in very limited time during this period. Teams have demonstrated their agility and adaptability. Regular points were set up throughout the process at a weekly basis. The preparation of the project was serious and allowed the unsurprising project to proceed. The result is fully in line with our expectations. »
